MANCHESTERBYTHESEA – The Manchester-Essex Green Hornets’ (1-3) loss to the Lynnfiled Pioneers (4-0) was, as they say, “closer than the score indicated.” Although pleased with his team’s effort, Hornets coach Jeff Hutton is working his team toward a better ending on Saturday when Manchester-Essex travels to Hamilton-Wenham for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
