LYNNFIELD – The Lynnfield Pioneers (10-9-1) have out-shot, and basically out-played several opponents during the regular season without getting wins in those games. Despite that, Coach Jon Gardner has seen his players work through tough losses, re-group, and end the season with an outstanding two-game tournament championship win on Martha’s Vineyard last weekend.
The Pioneers have earned the number 4 seed in all of D3 due to their strength of schedule and will open up the tournament on Wednesday at the McVann playing either the #29 seed, Norton (11-8-1) or the #36 seed, Ludlow (9-9-2) at 8 p.m.
