IPSWICH – Ipswich High School teacher and coach Gardy O’Flynn has a background most of us who love sports would certainly aspire to. A former professional baseball player and multi-sport athlete, as well as a multi-sport coach, Coach O’Flynn is currently coaching Ipswich girls’ tennis in the spring and boys’ golf in the fall.
In the interview below, Coach O’Flynn talks about his background, his love for teaching and coaching, and his current squad of student-athletes competing this spring in Cape Ann League girls’ tennis.
