IPSWICH – Ipswich, seeded number 1 in the D4 MIAA Girls’ Lacrosse Tournament, will travel to Whittier Tech in Haverhill to take on number 5 Manchester-Essex in today’s semifinals. The Tigers are 18-1 and the Green Hornets are 14-7; and, according to Ipswich coach Allison Tivnan, Manchester-Essex is a familiar and formidable opponent.
