IPSWICH – The Ipswich High School girls’ lacrosse team put together yet another fantastic regular season, finishing at 15-1, the only loss at midseason to the crosses of mighty CAL rival Newburyport. After a 17-0 opening round win by the Tigers, Coach Allison Tivnan is preparing her team for another CAL rival, Lynnfield, on Wednesday at home at 5 p.m. in the Round of 16.
Ipswich (16-1) is is the number 4 seed in the MIAA D4 Girls’ Lacrosse Tournament, while Lynnfield (10-11) is ranked number 13.

Ipswich beat Advanced Math and Science 17-0. The Tigers were led offensively by Halle Greenleaf (3 goals, 3 assists), Ella Stein (3 goals),Allie Wile (2 goals, 1 assists), Lucy Winthrop (2 goals, 1 assist), Avery Brown (1 goal, 2 assists), Estelle Gromko (1 goal, 1 assist), Lily Cummins, Keira McPartlin, Jayne Krause, Jenelyn Taylor and Auska Keough. Lyla Greenleaf had 3 assists. Emma Paquette had 3 saves in the Tiger shutout. Defense was led by Morgan Sexton, Ella Stein, Avery Brown, Jade Wilcox, Faith Hauenstein and Lucy Donahue.
The Tigers play Lynnfield Wednesday at 5:00 in Ipswich!
