IPSWICH – A 24-yard field goal by Ipswich Tigers’ kicker Rowan Silva was the game winner last Friday as Ipswich defeated Amesbury in the Cape Ann League Fall 2 season opener, 17 to 14. Ipswich High School football coach Kevin Fessette installed a new offense in the preseason that worked well in the opener as Cole Terry (11 carries for 90 yds), Chase Huntley (10 for 110) and David Lonergan (6 for 30) combined for 230 yards rushing.
