GLOUCESTER – Gloucester High School hockey coach Derek Geary is a firm believer in “the glass is half-full” adage. With an important tie against Winthrop (12-3-2) last weekend, the Fishermen (8-8-2) have another big game Wednesday against Danvers (9-5-3) as the season winds down. Danvers at Gloucester 2/14 at 5:30 p.m. Gloucester won the first meeting on January 20 by a score of 2-1.
Gloucester is currently rated #13 in the D2 MIAA Power Rankings. Danvers is #10 in D3.
