(Audio) Off-Duty Gloucester Fire Fighters in the Right Place to Make a Save on Sunday

GLOUCESTER – Gloucester Firefighters Deputy Chief Andy McRobb and Lt. Buddy Doucette were tending to fishing boat business in the water off the public landing in Gloucester, when a car went careening off St. Peter’s Square into the harbor.  As the car fell nearly twenty feet and landed upside down in the harbor (at low tide), both Gloucester firefighters immediately took action on Sunday morning.

In the interview below, Lt. Doucette describes what happened, crediting Deputy Chief McRobb, fellow fishermen, and other Good Samaritans in effecting the rescue of three people trapped in the water upside down.
