GLOUCESTER – A multi-vehicle accident sent at least five people to the hospital with undetermined injuries in a1:30 p.m. chain-reaction incident at the Grant Circle Rotary, Route 128 North in Gloucester Thursday afternoon. According to Deputy Fire Chief Barry Aptt, the initial response was for a 2-vehicle crash, but then it was discovered that three other vehicles were involved in the accident. There was a major tie-up of traffic for about half an hour.
