LYNNFIELD – A tale of two high school hockey teams: Hamilton-Wenham High School boys hockey was happy with an opening day 1-1 tie with Lynnfield, riding the on the saves of Generals goalie Grant Landon. Lynnfield caoch Jon Gardner, however, looks at the result of that game differently. Citing the shortened schedule, among other things, Coach Gardner emphasizes the importance of each game and is optimistic about the Pioneers’ chances this season with their blend of veterans and young up-and-comers.
