ESSEX – Essex Police Chief Paul Francis said Tuesday afternoon that the new Essex Police and Fire Station, currently under construction along Route 133 just outside of town, is scheduled to be ready for operations this coming March, 2021. In a conversation with MSO News, Chief Francis also re-capped Halloween in Essex, updated the town’s status with respect to COVID-19, and praised the cooperation among Essex residents, businesses and town officials during the current state of emergency.
