AMESBURY – It wasn’t exactly what she signed up for, but Amesbury Mayor Cassandra Gove was faced with unexpected challenges just three months into her newly-elected position in 2020. A year later, she has navigated the pandemic, and now she is initiating some of the programs she envisioned when she first became mayor.
