LYNN – The Agganis Classics have been the the final celebration of area high school athletics at the end of each school year since the mid-50s. Executive Director of the Agganis Classics (5 days of all star competition) Paul Halloran has been the major domo, stem-winder, keeper-of-the-flame and overseer of Agganis Week for several decades.
The prime focus of the Agganis Foundation, scholarships for student-athletes, has been to award more than $2.3 million to qualified high school seniors, while affording them once last chance to compete in their respective sports.
