SALEM – Mayor Dominick Pangallo and the City of Salem invite the community to take part in Drive Electric Earth Month and attend this year’s upcoming North Shore Electric Vehicle Expo: Salem Kicks Gas!
WHAT: North Shore electric vehicle drivers and enthusiasts will have the chance to explore, ride in, and drive EVs to highlight the clean air benefits and cost-savings of electric cars on Sunday, April 27th, to celebrate Drive Electric Earth Month.
Privately owned and dealership plug-in vehicles by Porsche, Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai, Rivian, and other automakers (yes, including Tesla), will be available for test ride-and-drives, and EV chargers and related products will be on display. Both full battery electric EVs and plug-in hybrids will be onsite. Stihl will be on hand to showcase and answer all your questions about outdoor equipment. Local bicycle shops and Personal Electric Vehicle riders will be in attendance to share their e-bikes, scooters, unicycles, and more. EV charging is available nearby.
Salem’s event is one of dozens of events across the country where communities will gather to celebrate Earth Day and the role that reducing transportation emissions plays in combating climate change, along with the personal and consumer benefits of EVs!
Food will be available for purchase and beverages provided.

VISUALS: 20+ EV’s will be on display, with more than a MILLION total miles driven.
WHO: The City of Salem’s Energy Coach, Stacy Kilb, of the Sustainability & Resiliency Dept., is organizing this EVent. Food will be available for purchase and beverages provided. The volunteer and exhibitor hospitality tent will be sponsored by Corbin The Ioniq Guy.
