WINTHROP – The Winthrop High School Vikings boys’ hockey team (14-6-2), the number 4 seed in the MIAA D4 Hockey Playoffs, face Somerville (16-6-1) Saturday night at the Chelmsford Forum. First puck drop for the D4 semifnal game is at 7:30 p.m. Chelmsford is the number 1 seed in D4. So far, Vikings coach Dale Dunbar has guided his team to 3 playoff wins, including a triple-overtime win over Apponoquet. The Vikings have scored 11 goals in the tournament allowing 4; and Somerville has also scored 11 goals, allowing only 2.
