Essex County D.A.’s Office: Keoma Duarte Superior Court Arraignment for Manslaughter in Death of Endicott College Sgt. Jeremy Cole

SALEM – February 14, 2025 – On Friday, February 28, Keoma Duarte, 40, of New Bedford, Mass., will be arraigned in Superior Court in Salem for manslaughter while operating under the influence in connection to the motor vehicle crash which killed Endicott College Police Sgt. Jeremy Cole, 49, of Exeter, New Hampshire. Duarte was initially arraigned in Newburyport District Court via Zoom on December 3, 2024, at which time he pled not guilty to all charges. Superior Court Chief James Gubitose is expected to prosecute the case on behalf of the Commonwealth. The defendant is represented by attorney Joseph Krowski.
