WENHAM – Chief Kevin DiNapoli is pleased to share that the Wenham Police Department will be participating in the 9th Annual Boston Bruins BFit Challenge.
The challenge will take place on Sunday, Feb. 2 at the TD Garden in Boston, 100 Legends Way. The event invites all first responders and military personnel in the community to walk, run, or step to raise awareness about health and wellness while raising funds for charities.
Wenham Police, along with the Hamilton and Topsfield Police Departments, will be competing to raise funds for the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
Participating members include Officer Bart Connors, Officer Tyler Salois, Officer John Phillips, Officer Matt Krikorian, Sgt. Chad LaBrie and Sgt. Mike Mscisz.
The Tunnels to Towers Foundation was founded after 9/11 and has been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. The foundation is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.
