Town of Danvers : Town Manager Search Update

The Town of Danvers has engaged with Community Paradigm to assist with the search, recruitment, and select process for a new Town Manager. Community Paradigm is a Massachusetts-based group that was established in 2014 as a multi-dimensional organization focusing on governmental, nonprofit, and community concerns through a variety of services. However, their primary service is focused on executive recruiting of municipal managers for Towns here in Massachusetts. To date, they have completed over 110 such searches.  In the coming weeks, they will be working with the Select Board and various stakeholders on the recruitment of a Town Manager for Danvers.

  • In late December 2024, a position statement for the Town Manager search was prepared and advertised. Applications are being accepted through Community Paradigm and information on that process is available in the aforementioned position statement. Applications are being accepted until January 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM
  • At the January 7 Select Board meeting, the Board voted to create the Town Manager Search Screening Committee. The Committee is comprise of Corinne Doherty, Stephen Greisdorf, Eric Mitchell, Arthur Skarmeas, Wally Tipert, and Select Board Members, Maureen Bernard and Chair Dan Bennett.
