Tewksbury Police Arrest and Charge New Hampshire Man in Connection to Recent Shootin

TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged a New Hampshire man in connection to a recent shooting.

KHALE GUILLOU, AGE 19 of SWANZEY, NH was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm without a License
  • Assault and Battery with a Firearm
  • Vandalization of Property

On July 15 at approximately 5 a.m., Tewksbury Police responded to reports of a shooting.

Based on a preliminary investigation, police determined that two vehicles, a blue Nissan Rouge and a silver Mazda, had left Home Deport traveling south on Main Street. While proceeding onto the roadway, the silver Mazda fired several shots at the Nissan. The silver Mazda then fled the area.

There were no reported injuries. Tewksbury Police determined that the individuals were known to one another, and this was not a random act of violence.

Through a subsequent investigation Tewksbury Police, with assistance from Massachusetts State Police and New Hampshire State Police, identified GUILLOU as the suspect.

Tewksbury Police issued an arrest warrant for GUILLOU.

GUILLOU was arrested without incident.

GUILLOU was arraigned in Lowell District Court on July 23 and was held pending a dangerousness hearing on July 26.

GUILLOU is currently being held without bail and is scheduled to reappear in Lowell District Court on August 16.

This incident remains under investigation by Tewksbury Police.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
