Cape Ann Veterans’ Services
If you recall this past Memorial Day, Harry spoke on the war efforts of Korean War Veterans and “the forgotten war”. This Saturday, July 27th is National Korean War Armistice Day. In honor of Harry, the 6.8 million Korean War Veterans that served, the more than 35,000 US lives lost during these war efforts, and the 7,800 still missing today, this flag will fly as a symbol of their service to country and their sacrifices.
As you enjoy the mid-summer breeze along the boulevard, take a look at the flag proudly flying nearest the cut bridge at the site of the Korean Memorial plaque and reflect on the cost of war, the lives lost, and the sacrifices over 1,000 men from Gloucester endured.
Th am you Harry for your service and thank you all Korean War Veterans, for YOUR service. You are not forgotten.
