Peabody: City Implements Voluntary Water Restrictions

CITY IMPLEMENTS VOLUNTARY WATER RESTRICTIONS

Due to low water reservoir levels, the City of Peabody is implementing voluntary water
restrictions.

Residents are asked to help conserve water by limiting their outdoor water use. Lawn watering
should be limited to 3 days a week either in the morning between the hours of 6AM and 9AM or
in the evening between 6PM and 9PM.

Odd numbered houses should water on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and even numbered
houses on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

In addition, the City requests that car washing be limited to resident’s scheduled outdoor water
use days, and that everyone kindly refrain from outdoor water use on Sun
