GLOUCESTER – Millie Manning is a singer, songwriter and musician whose voice is heard during live events at venues in Gloucester and throughout the North Shore. Locals are familiar with her as the lead singer of “Millie and the Half Nelsons.” A graduate of Columbia University, with majors in music AND ANTHROPOLOGY, Millie has a unique perspective on the relationship between peoples and their cultures.
Aside from her gigs with The Half-Nelsons, she is also a solo artist and is now collaborating with area musicians John Jerome and Geoff Smalls in a project known as “Implications.”
