National Weather Service – Many are wondering what caused the temp to spike to 98F in Boston Wednesday for a very short period of time. Notice that winds went due W, compared to SSW, allowing a hotter airmass to move over the airport! Temps cooled back to around 93F as soon as the wind shifted back to the SSW
