PEABODY (Videos – Photos) Salem held a slim 1-0 lead heading into the 7th inning at Peabody Tuesday morning behind the shutout pitching of Riley Fenerty. Salem added two insurance runs in the top of the 7th as Fenerty went on for a complete game victory allowing only two hits in the shutout 3-0 win. Salem’s first run was scored in the fourth inning by Jordan O’Malley with the RBI from JC Vazquez. Salem is now 2-1 on the season and will play Marblehead on Friday. Peabody pitcher Dylan Cunningham was outstanding as well on the mound working six innings, with 11 strikeouts and allowing two hits.
