GLOUCESTER — Mayor Greg Verga and Fire Chief Eric Smith announce that the family of Firefighter Sander Schultz has announced funeral arrangements.
Funeral Service:
Thursday, April 11 at 12 p.m.
Our Lady of Good Voyage Parish, 142 Prospect St., Gloucester
A collation will follow at the Gloucester Elks Lodge #892
Due to very restricted parking in the area of Our Good Lady’s Church, the Gloucester Fire Department requests that no out of town fire apparatus be brought to the funeral services.
All off-duty uniformed personnel attending should be in Class A uniforms and park at St. Ann’s Church, 72 Pleasant St.
All Uniformed personnel should arrive at Our Good Lady’s Church by 11:25 a.m. to form up out front. A walk through of uniformed personnel will follow at 11:45 a.m.
Firefighter Schultz died suddenly on Saturday morning. He was 57. He was a 26-year veteran of the Gloucester Fire Department.
Flags remain at half-staff to honor Firefighter Schultz for decades of service to the Gloucester community.
The Gloucester Fire Department continues to ask that the family’s privacy to be respected during this difficult time.
