Lynn Police Department – The Gang Unit recently seized an illegally possessed firearm during a traffic stop and seized over 10 lbs. of pills following a joint investigation with the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit.
City of Gloucester : Atlantic Street Water Infrastructure Work to Start April 9, 2024 Starting Tuesday, April 9th, water infrastructure work on Atlantic Street will begin, from Atlantic Avenue to Jer Jean Circle. This work is anticipated to take one month to complete. Please be aware that traffic will be reduced to one lane during this time, so expect delays in the area

Marblehead Baseball – In the season/home opener, Marblehead tops Manchester Essex 4-2 behind 5 strong scoreless innings from Chris Cannuscio. He also added two hits and two RBIs
A great game by both teams that Marblehead was able to break open in the 5th. Marblehead was able to score four in the 5th when Freshman Greyson Leventhal hit a sac Fly to drive in Sophomore Graham Tips. Senior Charlie Sachs then had an RBI single and Senior Chris Cannuscio had a 2 RBI single – his second hit of the game. Cannuscio also went 5 strong innings to get the win. Manchester Essex made a strong comeback in the seventh and had bases loaded with 2 outs, but Brooks Keefe was able to strike out the final batter to preserve the win. Next up for the Magicians is Peabody now moved to Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm at seaside.
Pentucket Athletics – Down 9-6, the Panthers rally for 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th to walk off with a 10-9 win over Bedford!
