DANVERS – St. John’s Prep hockey coach Kristian Hanson is taking the Eagles (21-3-0) back to the MIAA D1 Boys’ State Championship Finals for the second time in three years. The Saint Pantrick’s Day championship game will face off at 5:30 p.m. with #1 SJP up against #11 Winchester (16-9-1). In 4 tournament games, the Prep has scored 24 goals and allowed just 3. Winchester, meanwhile, has 3 overtime wins, knocking off the #6 seed AND the #3 seed; and, in the 4 post-season games so far, the team has scored 13 goals and allowed 9.
