LYNN (Video – Photos) The three-time defending state champion #5 seeded St. Mary’s girls basketball team (19-6) will play #1 seeded Foxborough Tuesday afternoon at UMASS Boston at 5 p.m. in an MIAA D3 semifinal game. Foxborough is the defending D2 girls state champion basketball team. St. Mary’s has won three tournament games; Dedham (62-33), Apponequet (68-40), and #2 seeded Hanover (47-31) this past weekend. MSO Sports stopped by the St. Mary’s practice on Sunday to talk with coach Jeff Newhall and five Spartan players. Interviews and photos are posted below.
