WINTHROP – The Winthrop Vikings (18-3-2) have advanced to the semifinals of the D4 MIAA Hockey Tournament after a 7-0 win over Ashland (6-12-3). Coach Dale Dunbar is pleased with the solid play of his first line and the contributions of the entire team during the tourney that has seen the Vikings score 22 goals and allowed just 3 in 3 games so far. Winthrop travels to the South Shore for a 3 p.m. semifinal game with Dover-Sherborn (19-4-0) Saturday at the Gallo Arena. Ticket Link Division Four
