LYNN – The St. Mary’s High School girls hockey team won a thriller over the weekend to move on to the Elite Eight in the MIAA D1 Girls’ Hockey Tournament. With a close 4-2 win over #18 Boston Latin (17-5-2), the #2 Spartans (20-3-1) play #7 Shrewsbury (13-4-5) at the Ryan Arena Thursday at 5 p.m.
