LYNN (Podcast) Senator Brendan Crighton joins MSO News to provide updates in this podcast on key discussions and legislation taking place at the State House in Boston. Crighton serves the Third Essex district (Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Nahant, Saugus, & Swampscott), and has been leading on transportation and housing issues over the past several years. In this podcast Crighton discusses his role with the new Senate committee on Juvenile and Emerging Adult Justice as well as the Housing Bond Bill. Crighton is also working on educational issues, and he is hoping to find support to adjust the school building funding formula to assist the city of Lynn with replacing their aging elementary school buildings. Additional topics discussed include updates on transportation issues including the MBTA commuter rail electrification effort that he has been spearheading and the Lynn commuter ferry to Boston.
