(DANVERS) – The St. John’s Prep Eagles (19-3-0) scored two quick goals early in the first period on their way to a 7 to 1 win Saturday over Wellesley (15-5-2) in the second round of the MIAA D1 Hockey Tournament . Coach Kristian Hanson reviews the game and who the stars were. He also offers thoughts on the D1 tourney results so far.

The #1-ranked Eagles move on to the “Sweet 16” on Thursday against either #14 Braintree (9-11-1) or #8 Hingham (14-7-2) at the Stoneham Arena. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
