BEVERLY (Videos – Photos) The Masconomet girls basketball team (8-4) jumped out to an early lead Tuesday night and maintained a double digit lead from early in the second quarter to the end of the game. The Lady Chieftains led by 9 and the end of the first quarter (20-11) and by the half they had a 17-point lead (36-19) In the end, Masconomet topped Beverly 65-38 for their second win this season over the Panthers. Masco was led in scoring by four players in double digits; Mia Theberge (15), Ava Allen (13), Sabrina Cafarelli (11), and Samia Lalikos (10). For Beverly, they were led by Anna Michaud and Julianna Stevenson, each with 10-points.
