BEVERLY (Podcast) This past Fall Beverly High School instituted a student cell phone policy that restricted the use of cell phones during class time. Other Massachusetts schools have initiated cell phone policies in order to remove distractions from student learning time in the classroom. Yesterday Lowell High School announced a new cell phone policy and earlier this month Swampscott High School also implemented a new policy. In this podcast Beverly High School Principal Mark Thomas discusses the process that Beverly went through to formulate a cellphone policy and then make sure it was implemented as effectively as possible. At this point of the school year, Thomas is able to share updates on how the policy is working at Beverly High School.
