SALEM (Podcast) #3 Salem High football (10-2) will face #8 Fairhaven (11-1) Thursday at Gillette Stadium (3 p.m.) in the MIAA D6 Super Bowl. The Witches are coming off a Thanksgiving win over Beverly (35-14) while Fairhaven also won on Thanksgiving Day topping rival Dartmouth (24-21). Prior to Thanksgiving, Salem had won three playoff games: Dennis Yarmouth (33-26), Cardinal Spellman (55-0), & Stoneham 38-14). Fairhaven also won three playoff games to get to the super bowl: Winthrop (35-21), Norwell (28-14), & Hudson (40-37).
