PEABODY – From Day One, the Peabody Tanners (9-1) have played with the proverbial “chip on their shoulders.” proving they were every good as last year’s team that graduated so much talent. Tanner coach Mark Bettencourt is the defender of the Peabody tradition, and is most proud of his team that was just edged out in the MIAA D2 Football Tournament Quarterfinals.
The Thanksgiving Day home game with Saugus (5-5) is another opportunity for great memories to be made among players, coaches, and fans.
