IPSWICH – (Podcast) The #1 Ipswich volleyball team (20-0) has won two straight matches in the MIAA D4 tournament, beating Mashpee (3-0) and Oxford (3-0). On Friday the two-time defending state champion Tigers will host #8 Hamilton-Wenham (17-5) also coming off two tournament wins, Monument Mountain (3-0) and Nantucket (3-1). During the regular season Ipswich beat the Generals in both Cape Ann League matchups.
