From the Salem News:

PEABODY 34, ARLINGTON 0: Sophomore QB Luke Maglione threw for 138 yards with first half touchdown passes to senior captains Nick Dresser (25 yards) and Eli Batista (38) to send the Tanners to their first playoff win since 2016 and their first 9-0 start to a season since 1994. Senior Domenic Scalese made a pair of field goals to stretch the lead and rushing touchdowns by captain Alex Silva and senior Jaydin Mam (his first varsity score) sealed the victory.

Peabody’s defensive line led by Alex Jackson and Corey Dooley was suffocating, holding Arlington to zero net rushing yards for the game. Linebackers Jimmy Festa and Don Cavanaugh were immense and Johnny Lucas, Batista and Jayce Jean-Pierre excelled in the secondary. No. 5 Barnstable (8-1) visits Coley Lee Field next for a Division 2 state quarterfinal.
