GLOUCESTER – Injuries have taken a toll on the Gloucester Fishermen (4-2) who lost 2 games in a row before bouncing back last week against the Saugus Sachems (3-3). According to Coach Dan O’Connor, the continued solid line play enabled a couple of returnees and a couple of new guys to lead the Fishermen to the win last weekend.
This week, Gloucester travels to Peabody to try to knock off the 6-0 Tanners. Gloucester has scored 99 points and given up 105 (75 of those in the two-game losing streak), while Peabody has outscored the opposition, 186 to 56.
