BEVERLY (Podcast) Endicott football is coming off a bye week and will be hosting Western New England on Saturday. In this week’s podcast coach Paul McGonagle shares player updates and is asked about some of the “stats” behind the Gull’s 4-1 season. The Gull’s defense has been very strong this season and coach McGonagle gives a shout out to associate head coach Matthew Popino. Also below is the latest news from the school’s sports information office on the team’s updated national ranking(s). No. 18/20 Endicott (4-1) opens up Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play against Western New England at home this Saturday (12 PM).

Following the announcements of the D3football.com (10/8) and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) polls over the last two days, the Gulls have accomplished the following:
- Highest national ranking in program history (No. 18, D3football.com)
- Best AFCA ranking all-time (No. 20)
- First time ever ranked inside the top-20 in both polls
NOTES: The Gulls were also picked No. 1 overall for the second straight week in the Grinold Chapter New England Division III Football Coaches poll
