Salem Mayor Dominick PangalloToday Salem Schools were featured presenters on a @MASchoolsK12  webinar about supporting new arrivals. I’m so proud that #SalemMA is a welcoming & compassionate city, & of all the positive work that our district team & community partners have done to support our new students.

Dominick PangalloProud to join members of @NSlaborcouncil and City Councillors in speaking up in favor of #SalemMA’s wage theft ordinance & glad it received first passage at tonight’s Council meeting. Deterring wage theft helps ensure workers get paid fairly for their labor & curtails tax fraud.

Dominick PangalloJust got the update that #SalemMA’s new Ladder 1 is nearly finished and should be here in our city shortly. Looking forward to its arrival!

Girls Soccer – Hamilton-Wenham 4, Essex Tech 0 – The Generals put the pressure on in the 8th minute when sophomore midfielder Savannah Gauron won an air ball that she headed with power back into the box to senior midfielder Lily Mark who touched it off to junior forward Tessa Hunt for the goal.  In the 23rd minute, junior Annie Moynihan sent a pass from the corner into a scrum in the box.  Junior forward Madeline Ciaramitaro got enough on it to put the Generals ahead by 2.  In the second half, sophomore midfielder Maddie Graber scored her first two Varsity goals of her career.  The first came in the 47th minute off a drive to the corner by Mark.  The keeper made the save on Mark, but she was out of position when Graber placed the shot over her head to the far post.  In the 52nd minute, Graber took a cross from Hunt and placed it passed the ET keeper.
