Abbot Public Library (Marblehead) Teens Invited To Make Origam – Thursday, Oct. 5, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Program Room, Abbot Public Library at Eveleth School. Up for a creative challenge? Learn to make an assortment of small origami sculptures and projects, or spend your time practicing one design! Take-home instructions will be provided, and no registration is required.

Ipswich Field Hockey – Essex tech 2 ipswich 0, Abbie Allen 28 saves for Tigers
The Hamilton-Wenham volleyball team pulled out a 5-set win over visiting Masconomet 3-2 (25-22, 17-25, 25-21, 20-25, 16-14) to bring their overall record to 6-3. The Generals were led offensively by Gaby Campbell’s and Maddie Wilson’s 14 kills and 12 kills, respectively. Bizzy Ireland contributed 7 aces and 5 digs, while Hannah Powers and Maisie Leland played key roles coming off the bench.
