LYNNFIELD – Lynnfield’s 34-14 win over Newburyport last weekend was a combination of strong plays by the Pioneers (2-0) and some miscues by the Clippers (1-1). Lynnfield coach Pat Lamusta felt confident about his team’s prospects from the first offensive possession by Newburyport.
Lynnfield hosts the Peabody Tanners (2-0) Friday at 4:40, while Newburyport travels to Ipswich (0-2) for a 6:30 kickoff.
