Peabody Institute Library – Local artist Brooke Lambert hosted a Watercolor Workshop at the South Branch Library last week. Participants learned about color theory and different brush techniques while working on beautiful still life paintings of flowers.

Ipswich Golf – (Rockport 115 Ipswich 101) Brooks Slingluff lead Rockport and all scorers with 24 points.   Sophomore Charlie Pezza scored a career high of 19 points to lead the Tigers.


Hamilton-Wenham Girls Soccer – Hamilton Wenham 8, Rockport 0 – The Generals earned their first win of the season with a 8-0 home victory.  Senior midfielder Lily Mark started the scoring in the second minute.  The assist was from senior defender Claire Veenema.  Mark scored again in the sixth minute with an assist from junior forward Tessa Hunt.  Next Hunt got into the scoring column in the eighth minute with an assist from sophomore forward Savannah Gauron.  The two connected again a minute later—Hunt with the goal, Gauron with the assist.  Halfway through the first half, junior forward Madeline Ciaramitaro scored her first Varsity goal with an assist from junior midfielder Maren Cassidy.  With just two minutes left in the half, Hunt completed her hat trick on an assist from junior midfielder Sadie Gamber.  In the second half, Mark got her third goal of the game off an assist from Gamber.  The Generals finished the scoring with under ten minutes on a goal by senior Sydney Dolan off an assist by Junior Gillian Begin.

Senior goalie Stewart Bernard earned the shutout, along with junior goalies Sasha Makogonov and Piper Shepherd.
The Generals are now 1-0-1.  They face Newburyport on Thursday on the road.
