Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo – Today marks the official start of the 2023-2024 Salem Public Schools school year! Here’s wishing all the staff and teachers, the students, and everyone who’s part of the #SalemMA schools community a fantastic year!

Rep. Manny Cruz – Thanks to the folks at Green Team Junk Removal and @nationalgridMA for partnering with us to provide low cost recycling services to our residents today at Salem High School. Over 150 cars were served, 88 dehumidifiers recycled, and many donations were made to support the The Salem Food Pantry. I would like to express my gratitude to all the residents who made a donation, and took part in our first annual recycling and energy drive. Leading Salem is a team effort and I am grateful to have partnered with @SenJoanLovely @dspangallo and my colleagues on the city council and school committee to bring these services to our residents.

Television host Bob Barker passed away last week at age 99. Best know as the host of the “Price is Right” daytime game show. Earlier in his career he was host of “Truth or Consequences”. Great 1960s television.
