GLOUCESTER – Sunday was Day 2 for the Gloucester 400-sponsored Fisheries Heritage Days

Gloucester 400+ presents the Gloucester Fisheries Heritage Festival

The entire month of August, dedicated to our fishing heritage, is filled with events that invite the public to connect to, engage with, and be inspired by Gloucester’s 400+-year fishing history.

While there are many events throughout the month designed to appeal to every palate, the “jewel in the crown” is the free, two-day festival honoring 400+ years of Gloucester’s fishing industry on the Everett Jodrey State Fish Pier August 12 – 13. The festival will include food from the Fishermen’s Wives Association, waterways demos, knot tying workshops, baiting demos, and much more.

For details of the month, and festival, consult the calendar on the website: www.gloucesterma400.org
