Salem Hosts Back to School Festival – Wednesday 8/23 at Palmer Cove

SALEM – Salem Public Schools invites families to the second annual Back to School Festival on Wednesday, August 23^rd at Palmer Cove Park (50 Leavitt Street) from 4:30pm – 7:30pm! While students may not return to school until August 28th and 29th, Dr. Zrike, The Salem Teachers Union and all the staff at Salem Public Schools have been working hard this summer preparing to receive students back with open arms, and are looking forward to connecting families and students with members of the community.

Transportation for families will be provided again this year; details on the routes will be available within the coming weeks.

Organizations who are interested in attending and plan on sharing information or giving something away should plan to bring their own tables and chairs and allow themselves enough time to unload and set up. Staff will be onsite as early as 2:30 to assist. You may find parking on Congress Street and Salem Street near Saltonstall School between Leavitt Street and Lafayette Place.
