Yankee Homecoming Events and Road Closures

Yankee Homecoming 2022 Picture

Yankee Homecoming has arrived at last in Newburyport, and we look forward to another exciting week of events throughout the city. Thank you to all the volunteer organizers from Yankee Homecoming who work hard throughout the year to make this happen, and to City staff for all their efforts to coordinate the use of City parks and streets to host these amazing events. Thanks also to our Public Works and Public Safety employees who will be busy helping keep everything safe and on track throughout the week.

As a reminder, the best place to find all the information about Yankee Homecoming and the full schedule of events is through their website, www.yankeehomecoming.com. The City has approved many events in public places and will be authorizing several road closures to facilitate these events, and we want to provide information on some of the major happenings so that residents are aware. Some of these events are officially planned as a part of Yankee Homecoming; others have separate organizers but take place the same week.
