BEVERLY (Podcast) Brendan Sweeney was originally elected in 2021 and he has been serving Beverly as one of it’s three At-Large City Councilors since January 2022. In this podcast interview Sweeney outlines several key issues facing Beverly residents. Podcast includes: Charter reform, Hall-Whitaker Bridge, Beverly development, city construction projects, accessory dwelling units, and more. Sweeney is running for reelection this fall. Sweeney currently works in municipal management as the Assistant Town Administrator for the Town of Boxford. There, he serves as a senior member of the Town’s management team; he’s responsible for negotiations with public sector unions and developing the Town’s multi-million-dollar annual operating budget and capital improvement plan.
