BYFIELD – (Podcast) Triton Regional High School has named Paul Sobolewski as its next varsity Football Coach. Sobolewski has been a head coach in Massachusetts for the past 17 season. This past season he led Lowell Catholic High School to an overall 8-3 record, (7-1 league record), a Commonwealth Athletic Conference championship and the #2 seed in the D8 MIAA playoffs. For these accomplishments, Sobolewski was named Commonwealth Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
Under his direction, Coach Sobolewski has led Lowell Catholic to a 20-8 record over the last 3 seasons and 2 conference titles. Sobolewski has a career record of 108-78. Over the last 6 seasons alone, Sobolewski has a regular season record of 51-14, 4 conference championships, 2 appearances in the D8 Emass Final and a trip to the Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium in 2018. Coach Sobolewski has multiple league Coach of the Year Awards as well as a State Coach of the Year award recipient.
